 ement for a 2 day programme built around collabora
 tion\, shared learning and reimagining the future 
 of worker co-operation.</p>\n \n <p>We expect the 
 programme to include opportunity for business netw
 orking\, peer learning\, regional and sector meet-
 ups\, alongside open space and the chance for co-o
 p development advisors to connect.</p>\n \n <p>You
  will be able to learn about the UK federation of 
 worker co-ops and hear where the federation is at\
 , meet new members\, and connect with members from
  the five forming worker co-ops on the new acceler
 ator programme\, Own The Future.</p>\n \n <p>We ex
 pect sessions on the history and future of the wor
 ker co-op movement\, international solidarity\, an
 d how worker co-ops connect with wider social\, en
 vironmental and political movements. For Own The F
 uture participants\, there’ll be additional sessio
 ns.</p>\n \n <p>There will be time for relaxing\, 
 with movement-based activities\, music and campfir
 es\, and opportunities to explore the site’s beaut
 iful natural setting or go wild swimming.</p>\n \n
  <p>We’ll be building on what we’ve done to make t
 he Worker Co-op Weekend accessible\, we expect bur
 saries\, there will be childcare\, and we hope ano
 ther minibus service. Get in touch if you can help

 ogramme</h4>\n \n <p><strong>This year's theme\, i
 n connection with our Own the Future new co-op acc
 elerator programme\, is 'early-career' co-operatio
 n.</strong></p>\n \n <p>The programme for WCW is p
 rinciple six in action! We invite workers.coop mem
 bers and supporters to participate in programming 
 the days with suggestions for themes\, peer-learni
 ng\, workshops.</p>\n \n <p>To help focus ideas fo
 r sessions\, workers.coop is proposing session str
 eams organised around our strategic groups - Movem
 ent Building and Co-op Support and Development\, a
 s well as setting aside time for the new Own The F
 uture accelerator content and CoTech members.</p>\
 n \n <p>We have a budget to pay for any materials 
 but not for commissioning speakers or external gue
 sts\, this event is by us and for us and we've pri
 ced tickets as low as possible to cover costs. We 
 encourage you to put forward the sessions that you
  would like to share with the movement. Please sub

 ether practical learning\, improving the performan
 ce of your worker co-op\, or political education.<

 Tickets</h3>\n \n <p>Event tickets for adults (18+
 ) cost £75 for non-members and £65 for members inc
 l. VAT. Kids event tickets are a flat price £30 (4
 +) incl. VAT.</p>\n \n <p>You can book a day only 
 ticket for Saturday. The day ticket doesn't includ
 e accommodation and only includes catering on Satu
 rday.</p>\n \n <p>The ticket comes with a one hour
  commitment to pitch in during the event. There wi
 ll be a sign-up sheet at the welcome tent to take 
 on a task.</p>\n \n <p>Accommodation is priced sep

 >Bursaries</h3>\n \n <p>There will be a Solidfund 
 member proposal for 15 bursaries\, we will update 
 if that proposal is passed and how to apply in due
  course.</p>\n \n <p>Young Cooperators Network off
 er free travel bursaries to young people 30 and un
 der. We encourage those who are eligible to apply

 s</h3>\n \n <p>There will be childcare during Work
 er Co-op Weekend for children aged 4-12. To bring 
 along children aged 4-18 please book a kids ticket
 . Children 3 and under don't need any ticket.</p>\
 n \n <p>The childcare provision will cover the mai
 n programme sessions (i.e. parents are responsible
  during breaks/meal times). </p>\n \n <p>There wil
 l be a kid's programme similar to last year with g
 roup activities and games. </p>\n \n <p>We are wor
 king with professional childcare organisers to mak
 e sure that we have everything we need in place. T
 he organisers will be in touch with parents ahead 
 of the Weekend. </p>\n \n <p>There are different a
 ccommodation options for your kids\, such as campi
 ng\, booking a family teepee\, or booking a family
  dorm room that you can also share with others. </

 is will likely be selling cans from Thornbridge Br
 ewery and soft drinks\, or you can BYOB.</p>\n \n

 d to bring their own bedding. Dorms have bedding. 
 Towels aren’t provided. The site doesn’t have spar
 e bedding so don’t forget them - it can still get

  requirements. Most of the site is wheelchair acce
 ssible. There is a step to one of the meeting room
 s although ramps may be provided (we will confirm)

  \n <h3>Getting there</h3>\n \n <p>By public trans
 port the nearest train station is Grindleford (7 m
 iles away)\, on the Sheffield to Manchester line. 
 Or Matlock station (11 miles)\, from which there i
 s a bus that takes you half way (Transpeak bus) fo
 llowed by a 30 minute walk.</p>\n \n <p>Local taxi
 s are available but due to the rural location it’s
  necessary to book in advance as the wait can be l
 ong\, even if booking an Uber.</p>\n \n <p>Bike - 
 there will be a group cycling together to the venu
 e on Friday from Sheffield\, get in touch to be co
 nnected to them.</p>\n \n <p>For those coming by c
 ar\, there is an off-site car park we will direct
