The UK federation of worker co-ops supports local meetups in towns and cities across the UK\, bringing toge ther those locally involved in worker-owned busine sses.
\n \nWhether you're part of a worker co-op\, you are a supporter of worker ownership an d non-hierarchical\, radical businesses\, or you a re just curious\, everyone is welcome.
\n \nFor the next Sheffield loc al co-op meetup\, we are hosting an afternoon of i nformal visits to local worker and community co-op eratives in the city\, including Lembas\, Beanies and Principle 5!

\n \nAt the end of the aftern oon we're hosting a social meetup at the Gardeners ' Rest riverside pub at 6pm. If you can't make the daytime visits\, come along after work to the soc ial to say hello! No need to register if you are d ropping by to the social.

Principle Five is a co-operatively own ed building with educational and research resource s that is open to everyone! It is also home to the Sheffield Co-operative Development Group.
\n \ nWe will stop by for a brief visit to the buil ding and resources and a look around.
\n \nPrinciple Five is around the corner from the fina l stop\, so if you want to head early to the Garde ners Rest you can meet us there!

Regather co-operative run an organic farm in t he Moss Valley where they grow vegetables and sell veg boxes as part of their business.
\n \nWe have been in touch with them and they are open to a group visit in exchange for a fee or some wor k (helping them compost most likely!). This would take place at a time you arrange with them and is suitable for a group. You can contact them directl y to organise this.
