Glasgow Co-op Meet-up (evening)

Our November meet up will be at Greencity Wholefoods, 23 Fleming Street, Glasgow G31 1PQ.

Come along to meet other worker co-ops, welcome new co-ops, catch up and share news.

In November Glasgow hosts the Worker Co-ops Federation Autumn Assembly including a half day on worker co-ops in care, cleaning and agency work. Several of our group are involved in organising the Autumn Assembly so we'll be sharing updates on the programme and event - as well as catching up on what we've been doing with other movements in the city when not working on the Autumn Assembly!

New members are warmly welcomed.

Tea/coffee are provided - bring snacks to share.

Glasgow Co-op Meetup general info

Glasgow worker co-ops run monthly meet-ups on the first Tuesday of the month early evening, usually 5.30 – 7.30pm. The venue and activity - and sometime the time - varies but they're always open and informal. Sometimes we show films or organise talks, workshops or outings but most months we just hang out together and have a general catch up on all things co-op coming up in Glasgow or further afield. Meet-ups are all self-organised, so if you have an idea for a meet-up topic or event - we're in!

The meet-ups are for local worker co-ops and radical housing co-ops but any other co-operator from Glasgow or anywhere else in the world, or anybody or any group interested in starting a co-op of any kind is very welcome to join us.
