"The 2025 United Nations International Year of Co-operatives (IYC2025) theme is Co-operatives Build a Better World, showcasing the enduring global impact co-operatives have everywhere. We want to celebrate the range of amazing co-ops that are building a better world right here in the West Midlands.
We invite you to join us for an early evening of celebration as we showcase some inspiring stories of co-operation from the region.
We'll hear from our hosts Birmingham Friends of the Earth about their recent share offer and exciting plans to de-carbonise The Warehouse, setting the standard for best practice in sustainable living and working. The share offer is currently still open, so please do invest if you are able. There are only three days left and they are super close to reaching their stretch target!

There will also be stories of established and emerging local co-ops who are working hard on ground-breaking projects. You will get the opportunity to hear about co-op development support available in the region, as well as getting more involved with CWM as we launch our brand new shiny Membership Offer! There will be lots of opportunity to network whilst enjoying delicious refreshments from BRIG Cafe. The event is free of charge, but please do register via Eventbrite to let us know you're coming.
