'Loud Spring' film screening + discussion (Birmingham)

About the event

We will be screening the film 'Loud Spring' followed by a discussion about worker cooperation and climate change

Join us at The Warehouse in Digbeth from 8pm for a screening of 'Loud Spring'. This event is free and open to everyone, and is a fringe event to workers.coop's Autumn Assembly.

This film explores collective paths out of the climate crisis, and is an 'imaginary' of the radical convergence of the climate, social and workers movements in 2024. Part animation and part documentary footage the film was produced by Johanna Schellhagen through Labournet.tv, a feminist film collective that produces films about workers' struggles.

Bringing together people interested in co-operation, mutual aid and self-organisation, the screening will be followed by an informal discussion, 'What does worker cooperation have to do with the social revolution?' lasting approx. 30 minutes.
